Huawei will unveil the Mate 80 series on November 25 at an event in China. The company recently shared camera samples from the lineup, and it has now revealed a new feature designed for users who spend long periods outdoors.
In a video posted on Weibo, Huawei confirmed that the Mate 80 will include a new battery-saving option called Outdoor Mode.
The feature is designed to significantly extend battery life, with Huawei claiming it can keep the phone running for up to 14 days on a full charge.
The figure is notable, though its performance in daily use will only become clear once the phones are released.
Huawei’s November 25 launch will also introduce two additional products: the Mate X7 foldable and the MatePad Edge tablet, both set to debut alongside the Mate 80.
