CDA Publishes Updated Layout Plans for 48 Housing Schemes

The Capital Development Authority (CDA), in collaboration with the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi and Islamabad, has uploaded updated layout plans for 48 housing schemes to its official website to improve transparency in the housing sector.

According to an official press release, NAB’s involvement in efforts to curb corruption prompted the CDA to conduct a two-month review of housing schemes and update the available information.

Officials said the revised plans now offer accurate and verified data, addressing long-standing gaps found in earlier uploads. During a coordination meeting on November 13, NAB stressed the importance of publishing the updated layout plans to protect citizens’ right to information and prevent illegal allotments or future fraudulent activity.

The statement noted that NAB’s Awareness and Prevention Wing played a central role by identifying systemic weaknesses and recommending corrective measures.

The release added that NAB continues to work with the CDA to introduce further transparency initiatives aimed at reducing fraud and strengthening accountability in housing administration.
