The Islamabad Capital Territory administration has set up a special M-Tag installation counter at the Islamabad Press Club to facilitate journalists.
Officials said the counter was established in collaboration with the Frontier Works Organization and through the efforts of the Excise and Taxation Directorate, which aims to make the process faster and more accessible for media personnel.
The administration has also established an additional M-Tag installation counter at Parade Ground to assist the general public. According to officials, the Director of Excise and Taxation is personally visiting all installation points to ensure that operations remain smooth and that applicants receive timely service.
Authorities have requested residents to use the Parade Ground counter, noting that the Kachnar Park I-8 installation point is currently facing heavy crowds and longer processing times.
The administration said the expansion of counters is intended to manage rush, reduce delays, and provide citizens with more convenient options for completing their M-Tag registration.
