  • This is called a tax write off . LUMS doesn’t pay taxes despite charging alot for education programs.

Nothing to brag about. All these companies should be paying taxes to show their patriotism

  • Supporting those where only elites study. Wao how easily they transit black money to white in the name of good deeds

    • It is different then what you perceive. The NOP program is about giving scholarship to student who are plainly brillant and can’t afford to pay LUMS fees. There is a proper testing process where student from all over Pakistan apply for thr NOP scholarship. They are first shortlist. Then given 1 month of training to compete and finally assessed among those who had applied for scholarship. This is perhaps one of the best merit based setup that give opportunity to underprivileged student for studying at LUMS for free.

  • Bastards. Rather improving education level in country in general. These mofos are showing generousity to LUMS

  • Woah if they give that money to universities like University of Punjab which is frankly speaking 534 in world ranking , it might have had more impact, education for elites and commensurate measures in this regards are not due to be stated as philanthropy it is much better to call them nepotism!

  • This is a great contribute to promote quality education in Pakistan. LUMS has made a remarkable impact on intellectual landscape of this country. Though a very expensive university otherwise, it is a non profit institution. Welldone Best way group and UBL

  • I could not understand the strategy of donating to affluent ones , weren’t these donors able to see where this donation was needed the most..

  • KAASH!!
All these people can work for Govt. and its institutions for the growth of Govt. institutions that are declining ultimately affecting the general public where as private organizations are growing because they follow “the Merit and performance on the job” that’s why majority of the private organisations and companies are growing.

  • Best university but so expensive for middle class Pakistani All Best education record in A leval can not take admissions so some scholarship also for those half fees

  • Why Lums which is already Filthy rich? Why not to some poor community who really deserve it.
Andha Banty Reveriyan Mudh Mudh Apnyan Nu
