The Sindh government has introduced a new policy for public-sector employment under which candidates will receive five additional points based on their educational scores.
According to details, the newly announced policy ensures that a candidate’s academic record will carry extra weight during the selection process.
Under the policy, applicants for positions from Grade 5 to Grade 15 will be awarded five extra points, provided they have at least 50% marks in their academic credentials.
Additionally, candidates with Intermediate qualifications will receive five extra points in the test, while applicants appearing under IBA Sukkur testing will also be guaranteed five additional points during assessment.
The system will apply to all government departments, as confirmed by the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department. The notification has been signed by Section Officer Faizan Qazi.
