Changan is expected to bring the AVATR 11, a high-tech electric compact SUV, to Pakistan, according to a recent report. AVATR is a premium sub-brand created through a joint venture between Changan, Huawei, and CATL.
The AVATR 11 is the brand’s first model and features an estimated 116.79 kWh battery pack. This large battery delivers a WLTP range of around 668 kilometers, enough for a one-way trip from Lahore to Islamabad on a single charge.
The base model produces 317 horsepower and 396 Nm of torque. The dual-motor variant increases output to 539 horsepower and 687 Nm of torque.
Huawei’s technology is deeply embedded in the vehicle, as it runs on HarmonyOS and uses the DriveONE iTRACK 800-volt EV platform. The SUV also includes Huawei’s Level 3 ADAS suite with 12 laser radars, 5G capability, and other high-end sensors.
AVATR 11 combines long-range capability with advanced software and hardware. If Changan decides to launch it locally, the SUV could become one of the most feature-rich EVs in its segment.
There is no official pricing information yet. However, industry expectations place it in the upper price bracket of Pakistan’s EV market.
