Public Trolls CTO Islamabad Hamzah Humayun for Failing to Spot Tinted Cars During ‘Threatening’ PSA

A Public Service Announcement (PSA) by the Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has gone viral for the wrong reasons after social media users spotted multiple tinted vehicles casually driving through a check post, while Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Cap (r) Hamzah Humayun was busy delivering a stern warning about strict action against tinted glass.

The PSA shows officers removing black paper from car windows as part of the city’s crackdown on illegal tints. During the clip, the CTO gives a serious lecture to the public, reminding them that Section 144 is in effect and urging motorists to remove black paper to avoid penalties.

However, viewers quickly noticed the irony: as Hamzah Humayun focused on giving his “intimidating” lecture, several cars with obviously tinted windows, including a Toyota Crown, glided past the checkpoint without being stopped. The CTO’s attention on delivering his message meant he completely missed the violations happening right behind him.

The clip sparked widespread amusement online, with users mocking the PSA for selective enforcement and posting sarcastic memes about the CTO’s failure to notice the very cars he was warning about.

Despite the backlash, the Islamabad Traffic Police insists the crackdown is ongoing. A spokesperson confirmed that special squads have been deployed to enforce a zero-tolerance policy on black paper and tinted windows, emphasizing that road safety awareness is both a legal and moral responsibility.
