Noakhali Express have signed 20-year-old Pakistani all-rounder Maaz Sadaqat for the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League, bringing in one of the standout performers from the Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025.
Maaz was exceptional throughout the tournament, finishing as the top scorer with 258 runs in five innings. He averaged 129, struck at 177.93, and produced two commanding half-centuries, including a match-winning 96.
His contribution with the ball was just as important. With seven wickets at an economy rate of only 4.33, he ranked among the tournament’s best bowlers and became the clear choice for Player of the Series.
His most memorable performance came against India A. Maaz first removed two key top-order players, then powered to an unbeaten 79 off 47 balls, guiding his side to an eight-wicket win with plenty of overs left.
The year 2025 has already been packed with opportunities for Maaz Sadaqat. He made his Pakistan Super League debut for Peshawar Zalmi and caught attention with a fluent 55 off 33 balls in a 102-run partnership with Babar Azam.
Noakhali Express is confident he can bring the same energy and balance to their BPL campaign.
Noakhali have assembled a strong squad around their new signing. Their local lineup includes Soumya Sarkar, Hasan Mahmud, Jaker Ali Anik, Mahidul Islam Ankon, Shahadat Hossain Dipu, and Habibur Rahman Sohan.
The overseas unit also looks solid with Johnson Charles, Kusal Mendis, Mohammad Nabi, Haider Ali, Ihsanullah Khan, Rahmatullah Ali, and Zahir Khan.
Noakhali Express will open their BPL season on December 26 against Chattogram Royals.
