Mitchell’s Fruit Farms Unveils New Leadership Following Major Takeover

Mitchell’s Fruit Farms Limited (MFFL), a leading Pakistani producer of farm and confectionery products, has announced a leadership overhaul following a major change in its ownership structure.

The company’s board has appointed Kashif Sajjad Sheikh as Chairman and Usman Zafar Butt as Chief Executive Officer, effective for a three-year term starting December 9, 2025, according to a notice filed with the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Monday.

The appointments come on the heels of CCL Holding (Private) Limited’s acquisition of a 40.63% stake in Mitchell’s in October, signaling a new chapter for the company. Kashif Sajjad Sheikh, who also serves as Executive Chairman of CCL Holding, brings nearly 30 years of leadership experience, including a transformative tenure as CEO of CCL Pharmaceuticals, where he oversaw significant growth and international expansion.

Usman Zafar Butt, the new CEO, has more than three decades of experience in Pakistan’s food and beverage sector. He previously spent 17 years at Coca-Cola İçecek, Pakistan, holding key positions such as Commercial Director and Chief Supply Chain Officer.

In addition to the leadership changes, Mitchell’s has reconstituted its board committees to enhance governance. The audit committee will be chaired by Ahsan Rashid, with Asim Dilawar Sheikh and Nadeem Bin Javaid Sheikh as members.

The human resource and remuneration committee will be led by Babur Sultan, joined by Hassan Zubair Sheikh and Usman Butt. The sustainability committee will be chaired by Fariyha Subhani, with Hassan Zubair Sheikh and Usman Butt as members.

The company said these changes are aimed at strengthening oversight and supporting its next phase of growth.
