Rawalpindi to Get Modern Family Park Worth Rs. 450 Million

The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has launched a major recreational project in Adiala, where a new family park will be developed at an estimated cost of Rs. 450 million.

PHA Director General Ahmed Hassan Ranjha said the park will include jogging and cycling tracks, an open-air gym, a mini-golf area, an indoor games hall, cricket and football zones, tennis courts, an ATV track, and a skating rink. He added that a water pond is also under construction.

He said the project aims to provide families in the rural belt of Rawalpindi district with modern recreational spaces close to home. The park will also offer a designated children’s play area, a café, a zipline, and paintball activities.

Ranjha said the authority is using all available resources to ensure quality public facilities. He stated that the park will create healthy entertainment opportunities for residents and introduce modern recreation options in the area.

Officials said the inauguration will feature a grand fair with traditional foods and a modern food street.
