Nothing has officially unveiled the Phone (3a) Community Edition, the company’s latest collaboration-driven project, introduced earlier in March. Only 1,000 units of this special edition model will be produced. Registration is open until December 11, followed by a limited sales window on December 12 exclusively through Nothing’s website.
The project drew more than 700 submissions from the community, with selected contributors working directly with Nothing’s design, software, marketing, and creative teams in London to bring the final product to life.
Winners include Emre Kayganacl for hardware design, Ambrogio Tacconi and Louis Aymond for accessories, Jad Zock for the lock screen clock and wallpaper design, and Sushruta Sarkar for the marketing campaign.
The Community Edition design takes inspiration from the late ’90s and early 2000s. It includes a unique dice accessory featuring Nothing’s Ndot 55 font, a custom minimalist clock face, and an exclusive wallpaper that connects the rear color and texture with the front interface.
The hardware specifications remain the same as the standard Nothing Phone (3a).
