Lahore Police Claims Huge Drop in Crime Rate in 2025

According to the data released by the police, a comparative review of the first 11 months of 2024 and 2025 shows a 52% overall reduction in serious crimes.

The report states that:

• Calls received on Rescue 15 have dropped by 73%.
• Robbery incidents have decreased by 49%, while
• Mugging cases have declined by 73%.
• Additionally, theft cases have also fallen by 30%.

DIG Operations Faisal Kamran says that this decline in crime is the result of government support, the implementation of modern technology, and the tireless efforts of the police force.
