The Pakistan Super League (PSL) will host its second international roadshow in New York on December 13, featuring six national cricketers, including Test captain Shan Masood and T20I captain Salman Ali Agha.
The event follows a successful roadshow held at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London. As part of its global outreach strategy, the PSL is engaging international investors ahead of the auction of two new franchises, scheduled for January 6.
“Following a successful Roadshow at Lord’s Cricket Ground in England on Sunday, 7 December, the HBL Pakistan Super League will hold its second international Roadshow in New York City, USA on Friday, 13 December. The event will begin at 4pm local time,” the PCB said in a statement.
The board stated that the New York Roadshow aims to highlight the league’s commercial strength, global following and long-term growth potential.
The PCB confirmed that Salman Ali Agha, Abrar Ahmed, Faheem Ashraf, Saim Ayub, Shan Masood and Saud Shakeel will attend the PSL roadshow in New York.
The PSL, launched in 2016 with five franchises and later expanded to six, is preparing for further growth.
With two new teams set to join from the league’s 11th edition next year, the PSL will undergo its first major restructuring in seven years, increasing the total number of franchises to eight.
