Oppo Find X9 Ultra Camera Details Surface Ahead of Launch

A new leak has shed light on the camera system planned for Oppo’s next flagship smartphone, the Find X9 Ultra, which is expected to arrive next year as the successor to the Find X8 Ultra.

According to a post on Weibo by tipster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Oppo Find X9 Ultra will feature a dual 200MP camera setup on the rear and support up to 10x optical zoom.

The Find X9 Ultra is expected to launch in April next year and will reportedly be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

As per the leak, the phone will include a 200MP primary camera that is claimed to deliver light intake superior to that of a one-inch type sensor. This will reportedly be paired with a 200MP periscope telephoto camera offering improved light sensitivity.

In addition, the setup is said to include a 50MP periscope telephoto camera capable of 10x optical zoom. The system is tipped to offer a native focal length of 230mm, which can extend to 460mm while maintaining optical-quality results.

The Find X8 Ultra, which the new model will replace, also featured a dual periscope camera system, indicating Oppo’s continued focus on advanced zoom capabilities.

Separately, Oppo has already confirmed that the Find X9 Ultra will feature a battery with a capacity exceeding 7,000mAh, pointing to a significant emphasis on endurance alongside camera upgrades.

Oppo has not yet confirmed full specifications or pricing for the Find X9 Ultra, and more details are expected to emerge closer to its official launch.
