Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi announced a major reward for the Pakistan U19 team following their victory in the 2025 Asian Cricket Council (ACC) U19 Asia Cup.
According to sources, the PCB chairman has announced a cash prize of Rs. 5 million for each player on the winning team following their victory against India.
Sources said that Mohsin Naqvi met the players after their success in the final, where he praised their outstanding performance and encouraged them for their efforts on the field.
He also assured the players that the PCB would take full care of them and provide complete support in all aspects.
Mohsin Naqvi further assured the team that all their needs, including medical facilities, would be fully taken care of.
Pakistan U19 side produced a statement performance in the 2025 U19 Asia Cup final, thrashing India by 191 runs in Dubai. Batting first, Pakistan piled up 347/8, built around a stunning 172 from Sameer Minhas, who tore into the Indian attack and walked away with both Player of the Match and Player of the Series honors.
In reply, India briefly threatened with a brisk start before collapsing to 156 all out in 26.2 overs, undone by relentless pace and disciplined change bowling as Pakistan wrapped up their first outright U19 Asia Cup title in more than a decade.
