GoPro’s Next Product Is Apparently an Asus Laptop

Asus has teased an unusual new product for next year: a laptop developed in collaboration with GoPro. The device, branded as the ProArt x GoPro Edition, is expected to be unveiled in January 2026.

In a teaser shared on its social media channels, Asus said the “ProArt GoPro Edition is about to break cover” and confirmed a launch event scheduled for January 6 at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

Teaser Video

The teaser video offers only limited details but includes a close-up of a dedicated GoPro shortcut key on the keyboard. It also hints at a laptop with a textured front surface and what appears to be Asus’ DialPad, a control interface included in some ProArt models.

In the final frames of the teaser, a box-shaped object with GoPro branding appears behind the laptop, suggesting that the partnership may extend beyond software integration.

A Familiar Partnership

A ProArt and GoPro collaboration is not entirely new. Earlier this year, the two companies worked together to integrate GoPro Cloud into Asus’ StoryCube media management app. That earlier partnership also included complimentary GoPro Premium+ subscriptions with select ProArt purchases.

However, the latest teaser suggests a deeper level of integration. The presence of a GoPro-branded key and additional hardware in the video indicates that GoPro may play a more direct role in the laptop’s design or functionality.

Some Questions Remain

The teaser raises several unanswered questions. It is unclear whether the ProArt x GoPro laptop will incorporate durability features inspired by GoPro products. Some existing ProArt models already undergo testing for dust, drops, vibrations, and extreme temperatures, making such a direction plausible.

The identity and purpose of the GoPro-branded object shown behind the laptop also remain unknown.
