The registrations of Gallant Foundation School, Gulshan Hadeed Phase II, Karachi, and Metropolitan School, Federal B Area Block 13 and Block 20 have been suspended.

These schools failed to provide the mandatory 10 per cent free-ship quota to students and instead offered selective fee concessions to a limited number of students.

Professor Rafia Mallah said the action was taken in light of a decision issued on October 19 in response to application No. 1592/2025.

The decision followed a comprehensive review of school fees, registration status, and administrative matters across private institutions.

In total, the registrations of 13 private schools in Karachi and 20 in Hyderabad were cancelled, while 10 schools were fined for illegally increasing fees and committing other administrative irregularities.

Officials stated that several institutions had failed to comply with the provisions of the Private Education Act.

The Directorate has directed all private educational institutions to complete their registrations on time, maintain transparent fee records, and strictly adhere to legal requirements.

Authorities warned that failure to comply would result in stricter legal action.

An official statement confirmed that the decision would be implemented immediately and no concessions would be granted.
