A private airline has issued a public travel update after disruptions to several international and domestic flights over the past few days, citing unforeseen technical issues with a wet leased wide body aircraft.
In a statement shared with passengers, AirSial said flights to Lahore, Jeddah, and Dubai were affected due to the technical fault. The airline stated that passenger safety remains its top priority and emphasized that operations would not continue until all safety requirements are fully met.
The airline said passengers who are currently stranded are being provided hotel accommodation along with full board meals in Lahore, Dubai, and Jeddah, in line with standard procedures. It added that efforts are underway to transfer affected travelers on the next available flights, including through other airlines, with transfers being managed accordingly.
According to the statement, airline teams are working around the clock to resolve the issue and restore scheduled operations at the earliest.
For upcoming travelers, the airline advised confirming flight status before arriving at the airport. Passengers were asked to contact the airline’s helpline for updates, while those unable to get through due to high call volumes were advised to share their details through official social media channels for a callback.
The airline apologized for the inconvenience and thanked passengers for their patience.
