This year’s BPL is basically an overseas PSL with a green tint all over it. Almost every team has a Pakistani flavor: Saim Ayub and Mohammad Amir are turning out for Sylhet Titans, Usman Khan is with Dhaka Capitals, while Mohammad Nawaz, Sahibzada Farhan, and Jahandad Khan are lining up for Rajshahi Warriors.
Noakhali Express has pace talent Ihsanullah and Haider Ali, and Rangpur Riders have gone all‑in on Pakistan with Khawaja Nafay, Faheem Ashraf, Khushdil Shah, Akif Javed, Sufiyan Muqeem, and Mohammad Akhlaq in their ranks. Even talented pacer Salman Mirza has been snapped up by the Dhaka Capitals.
If you want to see how Pakistan’s emerging stars and seasoned campaigners perform in different conditions, new roles, and high‑pressure finishes, the BPL is about as close as you’ll get to a bonus PSL season in the middle of the year.
