Gold prices in Pakistan fell massively on Tuesday, in line with a significant decline in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs. 10,700 during the day, settling at Rs. 459,462, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The price of 10 grams of gold also decreased, falling by Rs. 9,174 to Rs. 393,914.
This follows Monday’s decline, when gold prices per tola had already dropped by Rs. 5,500 to reach Rs. 470,162.
On the international front, gold prices fell by $107, bringing the rate down to $4,371 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Silver prices also saw a decrease, with the rate per tola falling by Rs. 145 to Rs. 7,930.
