A well-known Yemeni Quran teacher and Islamic scholar, Sheikh Dr. Ali Mohammed Al-San’ani, has passed away suddenly while teaching the Quran.
His final moments were captured on camera and later went viral on social media. In the video, the scholar can be seen engaged in Quranic teaching in Yemen’s Marib province when he suddenly closes his eyes and falls from his chair.

According to foreign media reports, Sheikh Dr. Al-San’ani was supervising students who had memorized the Quran at the Noora Mosque in the Ramailah area.
He was listening attentively to a student reciting the Quran and was holding a copy of the Holy Quran at the time of the incident.
While performing his usual teaching duties, he suddenly collapsed and passed away. His death has caused deep sorrow among students and the wider religious community.
Sheikh Dr. Ali Mohammed Al-San’ani had earned a PhD degree with high academic distinction. He served as the director of Quranic circles at Noora Mosque and was regarded as a key figure in Quranic education, playing a major role in teaching and guiding multiple generations in Marib province.
