Punjab Housing Minister Bilal Yasin inspected the ongoing construction of an underground plaza at Taxali Road on Wednesday to assess the pace of work.
During the visit, he said the government is developing the project on 22 kanals of land and has set January 2027 as the completion target.
He added that the project will deliver a large underground parking area along with a landscaped garden within the next 14 months to ease traffic congestion in the area.
Yasin said the project will play a key role in restoring and improving the outlook of inner Lahore.
According to him, the planners have designed 639 commercial shops across two floors, while the two lower floors will accommodate parking for cars and motorcycles.
