The government has accepted the demands of PERA employees and released funds for the payment of their salaries.
According to the Finance Department, an amount of Rs 1.5 billion has been released specifically for the salaries of PERA employees.
Sources said that an additional Rs207 million has been allocated to modernize agricultural services, under which the Agriculture Department will provide farmers with improved and modern facilities.
Similarly, the government has released Rs4.4 billion for the Livestock Department to cover salaries and operational expenses.
The Finance Department has also uploaded the details of the released funds online to ensure transparency and public access to budget information.
