The District Education Authority (DEA) Lahore has sealed several private schools for operating during winter holidays, warning of strict action against violators.
According to officials, Oxford Grammar School Shahdara and Tehzeeb-ul-Islam School on Bedian Road were sealed for reopening during the vacation period.
Umm-ul-Huda School in Sabzazar was also shut down for the same violation. Authorities issued strict warnings to the administrations against reopening the schools.
DEA Lahore stated that its crackdown against private schools remains ongoing. Officials warned that any school found operating during holidays will face immediate sealing on the spot.
The education authority clarified that all schools will reopen on January 12, in line with the official notification.
