The auction for the two new teams in the 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) will take place on Thursday, 8 January at the Jinnah Convention Centre in Islamabad, as the league moves closer to expanding from six to eight teams for its 11th season.
The ceremony will begin at 4:15 pm and will be live-streamed for fans in Pakistan and abroad.
Fans can watch the auction live on the official PSL and PCB YouTube channels. The event will also be streamed online on Tapmad, Tamasha, and Myco, while viewers in the UK can tune in via PCB Live (UK region).

Before bidding begins, the event will also include a felicitation segment for Pakistan’s recent title-winning squads, including the Pakistan Shaheens (Men’s Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025 in Doha) and the Hong Kong Super Sixes winning team.
A total of 10 technically qualified bidders will compete for the two franchises. The shortlisted cities under consideration for team allocation are Faisalabad, Gilgit, Hyderabad, Muzaffarabad, Rawalpindi, and Sialkot.
Following the conclusion of the auction, renowned singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is scheduled to perform at the venue.
