Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Friday, in line with an upward trend in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold rose by Rs. 3,400 per tola, reaching Rs. 469,562. Likewise, the rate of 10-gram gold went up by Rs. 2,915 and was traded at Rs. 402,573, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
A day earlier, the price of gold per tola had stood at Rs. 466,162 after declining by Rs. 600 during Thursday’s session.
In the international market, the gold price increased by $34 to reach $4,472 per ounce (including a premium of $20).
Meanwhile, silver prices also registered an increase, rising by Rs. 70 to reach Rs. 8,195 per tola.
