Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has directed authorities to open the Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital and the Jinnah Cardiology Institute in Lahore within this month.
The directive came during a meeting chaired by the chief minister. Officials also decided in the meeting to re advertise the post of head of the Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cancer Treatment.
During the same session, Maryam Nawaz instructed departments to complete the reconstruction of Lady Willingdon Hospital as soon as possible.
Separately, the Punjab chief minister congratulated the Pakistan Navy on the successful missile test.
She praised the Pakistan Army as well as teams of scientists and engineers for the successful test of the LY 80N air defence missile.
Maryam Nawaz said Pakistan has achieved another milestone in its defence capabilities by successfully conducting the LY 80N air defence missile test.
