Islamabad’s travel network has gained a high-end new option with the launch of a luxury helicopter service connecting Islamabad to Nathiagali.
The service is designed to dramatically cut travel time for visitors heading to the Galyat region, reducing a typical 2–3 hour road journey to an approximately 30-minute scenic flight over the area’s valleys and forested hills.
Operated by Baron Aviation in collaboration with DoubleTree by Hilton Nathiagali, the offering is aimed at travelers seeking a premium, time-saving experience, particularly high-end tourists and small private groups.
According to the announced pricing, the package costs $1,050 (USD) per person for a one-hour round trip and can carry up to six passengers, positioning it as a luxury alternative rather than a mass-market transport option.
Tourism observers say services like these reflect the growing demand for experience-led travel, where the journey itself is part of the attraction.
Supporters believe the move could also strengthen Pakistan’s adventure and destination tourism branding by adding a premium access route to one of the country’s most visited northern spots.
DoubleTree by Hilton Nathiagali is widely known as an upscale mountain retreat, drawing visitors for its resort-style stay, cooler climate, and access to nearby scenic trails and viewpoints.
Baron Aviation, meanwhile, operates in Pakistan’s private aviation space and is expanding niche travel solutions through charter-style services that prioritize privacy, flexibility, and speed.

Good idea by baron aviation
Just a return air travel for usd 1000 is not worth it for a common person, without staying at Nathiagalli. It may however be a luxury experience for elite class only!
First we need to cater for the lower / upper middle class tourists instead of going for such luxurious services. Infrastructure, hotels and road transport needs to be improved to meet the budget of the said classes
1050 US dollars means 3 lacs :o
Better visit dubai in US $1050
It’s to high. It should not be more than $100/- per person. I have been in USA and Europe more than 25 years. Even there fares are not so high. It’s Pakistan, before any new scheme start, please always keep in mind our per capital income. Thanks
Good attraction for diplomatic or 1st class people. Don’t say tourists. Because it’s very expensive for all. Tourists mean on/off visit. You are trying generally once in life visit for general public. Please.
Why the cost mentioned in dollars mentioned its cost in Pakistani currency, and all the services are for elite class not for upper middle class or lower middle class,if u cannot afford low budgets than no need to be show off
Umrah can be done in 1000$
