The Emergency Services Department Rescue 1122 has announced the launch of its EMT Internship Programme 2026, inviting applications from eligible candidates across Punjab for paid internship placements in multiple districts.
According to a Rescue 1122 spokesperson, the programme is open to applicants who have obtained at least a second division in a relevant qualification. Candidates must hold a diploma or degree in nursing, paramedical, or allied health disciplines. In addition, only those with a Punjab domicile will be considered for the internship programme.
Rescue 1122 has also set a clear age bracket for applicants. Individuals applying for the EMT internship must be between 18 and 30 years of age. The department said the internship opportunities will be available in different districts of Punjab, providing candidates with hands-on experience in emergency medical services and field response operations.
Among the districts mentioned, Gujrat has been allocated 58 internship seats, while positions are also being offered in other areas.
Selected interns will be offered a monthly stipend of Rs. 40,000, making it a significant opportunity for young healthcare and emergency response professionals seeking practical training and exposure.
Applications must be submitted online through the CTS portal by January 27, 2026.
