Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Tuesday announced partnerships with rail operators in Canada and the United Kingdom to make onward travel easier for its passengers.
In a statement, a PIA spokesperson said the airline introduced an air to rail arrangement to help passengers traveling to Toronto and destinations in the UK reach their final locations more conveniently.
Under the new arrangement, passengers can book train travel together with their PIA flights on a single ticket, removing the need for separate rail bookings. The spokesperson said this option allows passengers to save time and complete their travel planning through one process.
PIA passengers arriving in Toronto can now connect by train to eight major cities across Canada through the airline’s partner rail network. Similarly, passengers flying to London and Manchester can access more than 50 cities across the UK using rail services linked to PIA’s bookings.
The airline said passengers can book air and rail tickets through PIA booking offices, registered travel agents, the official PIA website, and the mobile application.
