The Pakistan Super League (PSL) has announced a unique fan-driven initiative ahead of its PSL 11, inviting supporters and creative minds to take part in designing the league’s next official trophy.
In a statement, the PSL management revealed the launch of the PSL 2026 Trophy Design Competition, calling on designers, artists, and cricket fans from across the country to submit their original concepts. The winning design will not only be turned into the official PSL 2026 trophy but will also earn its creator a cash prize.
Participants are required to email their designs to psl@pcb.com.pk, with further details expected to be shared by the league in the coming days.
The move is being hailed as a major step toward increasing fan engagement and giving supporters a chance to leave their mark on one of Pakistan’s most celebrated sporting events.
The PSL has long been known for its innovation and connection with fans, and this competition adds a new creative dimension to that legacy. By opening the design process to the public, the league aims to make the trophy more meaningful and representative of its passionate fanbase.
Last season’s PSL trophy, named Luminara, stood out as a true work of art. It was crafted from a single solid sheet of silver, carefully shaped to form detailed stone settings with exceptional precision.
Weighing around 10 kilograms, the trophy featured 22,850 shimmering zircon stones, symbolizing the brilliance, passion, and competitive spirit that define the HBL PSL. The name Luminara comes from Latin roots meaning “light” and “torch.”
