Samsung Confirms These Galaxy S26 Models Are Not Coming

Samsung has clarified its plans for the upcoming Galaxy S26 series, confirming that neither a Galaxy S26 Edge nor a Galaxy S26 Pro is currently part of the lineup. The disclosure supports earlier rumors that suggested Samsung would not replace the Plus model with an Edge variant or the base model with a Pro version.

Three-Model Lineup Confirmed

The confirmation comes from a Samsung Colombia PDF document related to promotions, which lists the Galaxy S26 series ahead of this year’s Galaxy S26 Unpacked event. According to the document, the lineup will include the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra, with no mention of Edge or Pro models.

This aligns with previous reports that indicated Samsung would retain its traditional three-tier flagship structure for the S26 generation.

Edge and Pro Not Ruled Out Entirely

While the document suggests that Edge and Pro variants will not launch alongside the main Galaxy S26 series, it does not necessarily mean those devices have been canceled altogether. A delayed release for a Galaxy S26 Edge remains possible, though there is currently no indication of a Pro model in development.

However, considering the lackluster sales numbers for the last Edge model, Samsung will have to step up its game if it wants to make the slim variant successful.

For now, available information points to Samsung stepping away from the Edge branding, at least for the initial Galaxy S26 launch.
