Karachi Police have arrested a man accused of allegedly sexually abusing more than 100 children over the past six years, following a tip off from the East Investigation Wing.

SSP Investigation Usman Sadozai said officers conducted a raid in the Tipu Sultan area and arrested the main suspect, identified as Imran, along with an alleged accomplice, Waqas Khan.

Karachi Police recorded seven complaints between 2020 and 2025 across different districts of the city. DNA samples from all the cases matched a single individual, allowing investigators to link the incidents and identify the suspect.

SSP Usman Sadozai said the victims were boys aged between 12 and 13. He added that in one case, the child was assaulted by more than two individuals.

According to police, the main suspect lives in Manzoor Colony and worked as a roadside puncture repairman. Investigators said he lured children by offering motorcycle rides and then took them to secluded areas near the Malir River.

Police said DNA evidence linked Imran to all seven cases. In three incidents, child victims also identified him. In one case, a victim identified both Imran and Waqas Khan.

SSP Sadozai said the suspects also took one child to the Surjani area. When the child raised an alarm, both suspects fled the scene.

Police said further investigations are under way and more details are expected to emerge.
