HMD Launches Its First Wearables With Two Smartwatches and Six New TWS Earbuds

HMD has expanded into wearables with the launch of two smartwatches, the Watch X1 and Watch P1, alongside six new true wireless earbuds under the Dub series.

HMD Watch X1

The Watch X1 is positioned as HMD’s premium smartwatch. It features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a 466 x 466 resolution and up to 600 nits of peak brightness. It supports always-on display functionality and animated watch faces.

The Watch X1 runs a proprietary real-time operating system and is managed through the HMD Watch App, available on Android and iOS. It carries an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance and supports Bluetooth calling, notifications, and music controls.

Battery life is rated at up to five days on a single charge with always-on display enabled. Charging is handled through a proprietary magnetic charger. Color options include Gray Green, Black, Gray Metallic, and Silver Leather.

HMD Watch P1

The Watch P1 is described as a more versatile option. It comes with a larger 1.83-inch LCD with a 240 x 284 resolution and peak brightness of 550 nits.

Like the Watch X1, it runs HMD’s proprietary RTOS and supports Bluetooth calling, notifications, and music playback controls. The Watch P1 is rated IP67 for water and dust resistance.

Battery life on the Watch P1 is rated at up to four days. It also uses a proprietary magnetic charger and supports standard 22mm straps. The Watch P1 is available in Black and Silver.

Both smartwatches share the same sensor suite, including heart rate and SpO₂ monitoring. They support tracking for more than 700 activities and include sleep monitoring, stress tracking, and active calorie tracking.

Each model supports standard 22mm watch straps, allowing users to change bands easily.

HMD Dub Earbuds

HMD also announced six new true wireless earbuds under its Dub lineup. The flagship Dub X50 Pro features Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, active noise cancellation, quad microphones, IPX4 splash resistance, and up to 60 hours of total playback, with 15.8 hours coming from the earbuds.

The Dub X50 offers similar specifications but removes active noise cancellation. It delivers up to 70 hours of total playback, including 17.9 hours from the earbuds.

The Dub S60 provides up to 35 hours of total playback and includes environmental noise cancellation. The Dub P70 adds active noise cancellation and is rated for up to 45 hours of playback.

The Dub P60 offers up to 30 hours of total playback, while the Dub P50 is rated at up to 25 hours.

HMD has confirmed pricing for select Dub models in the Philippines. The Dub X50 will retail for $30, the Dub S60 for $28, and the Dub P60 for $20. Pricing and availability for other models, as well as the smartwatches, have not yet been announced.
