Famous Pakistani Influencer Gifts Ajrak to Manchester City Manager

Hamza Bhatti, a Rawalpindi-based content creator known for the Pindi Boyz apparel brand, met Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, during a promotional event at the Etihad Stadium.

During the meeting, Bhatti gifted Guardiola a traditional Pakistani Ajrak, symbolizing a cultural exchange between Pakistan and global football.

The meeting took place as part of a promotional campaign sponsored by HBL Bank and Visa. The event highlighted the increasing global presence of Pakistani digital creators within international sports and cultural platforms.

Bhatti later shared his experience on social media, describing the moment as a personal milestone. He wrote that for 17 years, Guardiola had only been someone he watched on screen, but that day he was able to meet him in person.

Bhatti called the encounter proof that “dreams don’t need permission” and said the experience was dedicated to young people who aspire to think beyond borders.

The Ajrak presented to Guardiola carries deep cultural significance. Known for its distinctive geometric patterns and natural dyes, Ajrak represents sustainable artisanal traditions that date back more than 4,000 years in the Sindh region.

By wearing the Ajrak, Guardiola became part of a symbolic moment where Pakistani heritage intersected with one of the most recognizable figures in world football.
