The trophy for the upcoming three-match T20 International series between Pakistan and Australia was unveiled on Wednesday at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha and Australia skipper Mitchell Marsh jointly revealed the silverware ahead of the pre-series press conference, marking the official start of the much-anticipated contest.
The opening match of the series will be played on Thursday, with the second and third T20Is scheduled for January 31 and February 1. All three matches will be held at Gaddafi Stadium.
The toss for each game is set for 5:30 p.m., while the first ball will be bowled at 6:00 PM.
The series is expected to serve as vital preparation for both teams ahead of the T20 World Cup, which will take place in India and Sri Lanka from February 7 to March 8.
Pakistan has been placed in Group A for the tournament, alongside India, the United States, the Netherlands, and Namibia. Australia will compete in Group B with Sri Lanka, Ireland, Zimbabwe, and Oman.
This tour marks Australia’s third visit to Pakistan since March–April 2022, when the two sides played a historic Test series, followed by an ODI series and a one-off T20I.
Australia also featured in three matches of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan, including a narrow three-wicket T20I victory at Gaddafi Stadium on April 5, 2022.
In T20 internationals, Pakistan and Australia have faced each other 28 times. Australia has won 14 matches, while Pakistan has claimed 12 victories. One match ended in a tie, and another produced no result.
