Pakistan Announces Star-Studded Commentary Panel for Australia T20 Series

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a five-member commentary panel for the upcoming three-match T20I series between Pakistan and Australia.

All three T20Is will be played at Gaddafi Stadium, with matches scheduled for 29 January, 31 January, and 1 February. The toss for each match will take place at 5:30 p.m., while play is set to begin at 6:00 PM.

Former Australia Test batter Simon Katich will return to Pakistan as part of the commentary team. Katich last visited the country in March 2022, when he called the historic Test series that marked Australia’s return to Pakistan after a 24-year gap.

Joining Katich in the commentary box will be former Pakistan Test captains Aamir Sohail and Ramiz Raja, along with former Test batter Bazid Khan. Former Pakistan women’s team captain Urooj Mumtaz also completes the five-member panel.

Zainab Abbas will serve as presenter for the PCB’s PitchSide Studio, offering expert analysis and insights during the pre- and post-match shows across all three games at Gaddafi Stadium.

The series will be broadcast in high definition using 28 cameras, including a buggy cam. Hawk-Eye and UltraEdge technologies will be part of the Decision Review System (DRS).

Fans in Pakistan can watch the live matches on PTV Sports, while Tamasha, Tapmad, and Myco will provide live streaming within the country.

International viewers can follow the action on T Sports (Bangladesh), Willow (North America), Cricbuzz (MENA), SuperSport (Africa), and Fox Sports (Australia). Live streaming will also be available on PCB Live for fans in the United Kingdom.
