Pakistani Martial Artist Makes History with 150 Guinness World Records

Rashid Naseem has become the first athlete in Pakistan’s history to individually complete 150 Guinness World Records, according to official data published by Guinness World Records and confirmed on its official website.

Guinness World Records also verified that no other athlete in the world has completed 150 individual records.

Rashid Naseem achieved his latest milestone by breaking a record previously held by England’s Josh Laya. He delivered 340 full-extension punches on target in one minute while holding a one-kilogram weight, surpassing the earlier record of 333 punches.

In addition to this achievement, Guinness World Records has approved two more records set by Rashid Naseem.

One of the most unique records involved throwing an egg into the air, breaking a walnut mid-air, and catching the egg without breaking it. During this challenge, Rashid Naseem successfully broke 80 walnuts in one minute, exceeding the German master’s previous record of 72, while keeping the egg intact.

Another newly approved record was achieved in the nunchaku category, where Rashid Naseem repeatedly tossed a nunchaku into the air and caught it with his other hand. He completed this move 36 times, doubling the Guinness-assigned target of 18.

Guinness World Records has issued a verification email confirming these achievements, and all record details have now been officially published on its website.

Rashid Naseem, a resident of Shah Faisal Colony in Karachi, has had 31 world records approved in 2025 alone. He also topped Pakistan’s record list in 2024 with 28 approved world records, making him the country’s leading record holder in consecutive years.

Rashid Naseem dedicated his 150th world record to Palestine and said that, despite consistently representing Pakistan at the global level, he has not yet received recognition from the government.

Rashid Naseem has defeated India more than 40 times in record competitions and has broken records previously held by athletes from the United States, England, China, Iran, Switzerland, and other countries.

He currently holds the highest number of world records in punching categories worldwide and also has Guinness World Records in breaking, knee strikes, martial arts kicks, stick techniques, nunchaku skills, skipping, and jumping jacks.
