Photoshop’s New AI Upgrades Make Image Editing Faster and Easier Than Ever

Adobe Photoshop has introduced a set of new features that are rolling out to creators starting today, bringing further updates to its AI-powered editing tools and adding new options for text and image adjustments.

Adobe has enhanced its Generative Fill, Generative Expand, and Remove tools, which are powered by its Adobe Firefly technology. The company said these tools now generate results in 2K resolution, with fewer visual artifacts and improved detail.

Adobe also said the updated tools deliver more accurate matches to user prompts. In addition, the Reference Image option within Generative Fill has been upgraded to provide geometry-aware results that better align with the structure and perspective of the original scene.

Another update introduces a beta version of Dynamic Text. The new feature allows users to more easily transform text layers into curved shapes, simplifying a process that previously required multiple manual steps.

Photoshop has also added three new adjustment layers: Clarity, Dehaze, and Grain. These tools allow users to apply changes non-destructively, making it easier to fine-tune images while preserving the original layer data.

Adobe said the new features are designed to improve creative workflows by combining higher-quality AI-generated results with more flexible editing controls.
