The Government of Pakistan has approved Pakistan’s participation in the ICC World T20 2026, clearing the way for the national side to take part in the global event.
However, the approval comes with a key condition. The Pakistan Cricket Team will not take the field in the match scheduled for February 15, 2026, against India.
Officials said the decision allows Pakistan to remain part of the tournament while addressing specific concerns linked to the high profile fixture.

Great decision. Just like BCCI said that it’s their government which is not allowing them to tour Pakistan, Pakistan also gave them the taste of their own medicine.
