Redmi is expected to expand its K90 lineup with a new model called the K90 Ultra, although the company has not confirmed an official launch timeline.
A new leak has now outlined several of the handset’s key hardware features.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Redmi K90 Ultra will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 system-on-chip.
The leak also notes that the Redmi K90 Pro Max launched with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, highlighting a different processor choice for the Ultra variant.
The K90 Ultra is said to include an 8,500mAh battery. The tipster added that Redmi is reportedly attempting to fit an even larger battery into the device.
The phone is expected to support 100W wired fast charging.
The leak claims the handset will feature a built-in cooling fan and a high-refresh-rate display.
In a previous post, the same tipster said the Redmi K90 Ultra would carry a 6.8-inch display with a 165Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution.
The device is also said to include a metal frame and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.
