Defending champions Lahore Qalandars have announced the retention prices for their star players ahead of the 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) player auction on February 11.

According to the retention amounts shared, Lahore have kept captain Shaheen Shah Afridi in the Platinum category for Rs. 7 crore. Abdullah Shafique has been retained for Rs. 2.2 crore, while Zimbabwe all-rounder Sikandar Raza has been secured for Rs. 2.8 crore. In the lower bracket, Muhammad Naeem has been retained for Rs. 70 lac.

The Qalandars’ retentions were selected from a pool of 13 players placed across categories before the cut-off. Their Platinum list included Shaheen Afridi, Fakhar Zaman, and Haris Rauf.

Abdullah Shafique and Mohammad Salman Mirza were placed in Diamond, while Gold featured Zaman Khan, Jahandad Khan, Asif Afridi, and Asif Ali.

In Silver, Lahore had Mohammad Akhlaq, Mohammad Naeem, and Mohammad Azab, with Momin Qamar listed in Emerging.

Lahore’s update comes as other franchises also begin locking in their key names ahead of the February 11 auction. Karachi Kings have retained Hasan Ali, Abbas Afridi, Khushdil Shah, and Saad Baig, leaving Silver unfilled, while Quetta Gladiators have kept Abrar Ahmed, Usman Tariq, Hassan Nawaz, and Shamyl Hussain, also opting not to use the Silver slot.

Meanwhile, Peshawar Zalmi have retained Babar Azam in Platinum, with Sufiyan Muqeem also believed to be among their protected players.

With the auction around the corner and retention limits tighter than in previous seasons, Lahore’s numbers show exactly where the champions are placing their biggest bets for PSL 11.
