Pakistan equities witnessed a sharp sell-off amid intense selling pressure on Friday. The KSE-100 Index tumbled by 3,702 points (-1.97 percent), closing the session at 184,129 points.
During mid-session trade, the main bourse plunged by 4,489 points to as low as 183,547 before recovering a bit to the 184,000 level.
Total volumes reached 798 million shares and turnover valued at Rs. 48.36 billion. K-Electric (KEL) dominated the volumes chart, leading the market with over 517 million shares traded.

564 companies transacted their shares in the stock market today, with 113 of them recording gains and 323 sustaining losses, whereas the share price of 128 companies remained unchanged.
