Apple is preparing to release the first beta version of iOS 26.4 within the next two weeks, according to a report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.
The update is expected to introduce select components of a redesigned Siri powered by Gemini technology.
Beta Release Timeline
According to Gurman, Apple plans to release the first iOS 26.4 beta to developers during the week of February 23, provided there are no delays.
The beta version will allow developers to test early features before the software is made available to a wider audience.
Siri AI Enhancements
The iOS 26.4 beta will include some of the new Siri features, though it will not deliver the full redesign.
The complete chatbot-style Siri overhaul is expected to be introduced later with iOS 27. Apple is reportedly planning to unveil the updated Siri during its Worldwide Developers Conference in June.
Focus of Future iOS Updates
Beyond Siri improvements, iOS 27 is expected to focus on bug fixes, code optimization, design updates, and overall performance improvements.
These changes are intended to improve system stability and refine the user experience.
