Punjab Safe Cities Authority Announces Hundreds of Jobs

The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has announced new recruitment for Police Communication Officers (PCOs), opening opportunities for qualified candidates to join the province’s public safety and surveillance framework.

According to the recruitment details, PSCA is offering 267 vacancies for the position of Police Communication Officer. The hiring drive is open to both male and female candidates, with all government quotas applicable under existing rules.

Women, minorities, and persons with special needs have been encouraged to apply. Eligibility criteria require applicants to hold 16 years of education in IT-related disciplines, including BCS, BBIT, BS Telecom, MBA-IT, MCS, MSc IT, or an equivalent qualification.

Candidates with prior experience in the police department, IT projects, or call centers will be given preference. The maximum age limit is 28 years.

Applicants must hold a Punjab domicile, with candidates from districts including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Murree, Nankana Sahib, Layyah, Rajanpur, Kot Addu, Taunsa, Chiniot, Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, and Wazirabad encouraged to apply.

The authority stated that applications will be processed online through the National Testing Service (NTS) portal, and government employees must apply through proper channels.
