The Punjab Finance Department has released the allocated budget for the Tourism Department, making the funding details available online to ensure transparency.
According to official sources, Rs200 million has been allocated for the establishment of the Punjab Tourism Force aimed at improving security, guidance, and facilities at tourist destinations across the province.
Additionally, Rs100 million has been earmarked for the upgradation of the TDCP Resort Jallo to enhance tourism infrastructure.
Under the Punjab Development Programme, the government has also released Rs450 million for various development projects to promote tourism and related facilities.
