Lahore Qalandars buy back their speedster Haris Rauf for Rs. 7.60 crore during the ongoing 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) player auction.
The right-arm quick arrives fresh from a stellar 2025/26 Big Bash League (BBL) 15 campaign, where he emerged as one of the standout bowlers of the tournament.
Rauf played a key role for Melbourne Stars, finishing as a leading wicket-taker and earning the BKT Golden Arm award as the top fast bowler of the season.
He claimed 20 wickets in 11 matches, consistently striking in crucial phases of the innings and delivering breakthroughs in both middle and death overs.
During the season, he also produced match-defining spells such as a 3/29 performance that dismantled Sydney Thunder’s middle order and helped Melbourne secure a dominant win.
The marquee signing comes during PSL’s first-ever player auction, currently being held at the Expo Centre in Lahore as the league shifts from the traditional draft model to an auction-based system.
More than 880 players have been registered for bidding, with franchises operating under a maximum squad budget of Rs. 505 million to assemble their Season 11 squads.
Teams are required to build 16-member squads, including at least five overseas players, while also ensuring representation of emerging under-23 talent.
So, the big signings have been David Warner, Faheem Ashraf and Rilee Roussow.
