Former Pakistan cricket captain Wasim Akram has expressed deep concern over the health of former skipper Imran Khan, describing the news as “heartbreaking.”
In a public statement, Akram said it was painful to hear that Imran Khan is going through health issues and urged authorities to ensure he receives the best possible medical care.
“It is heartbreaking to hear our skipper, Imran Khan, going through health issues. I sincerely hope the authorities take this seriously and ensure he receives the best possible medical care,” Akram said.
Wasim Akram also extended his wishes for strength, a speedy recovery, and a full return to good health.
The bond between the two cricket legends goes back decades. Imran Khan played a key role in mentoring Waseem Akram during the early years of his international career.
