The scheme provides ownership rights to deserving and homeless families free of cost. Beneficiaries include laborers, shopkeepers, mechanics, and daily wage earners who will now own residential land.

Bilal Yasin said the Chief Minister will soon distribute official allotment letters to successful applicants.

He added that, in addition to free plots, the Punjab government will also provide interest-free loans to help families construct their homes.

The loans will be repayable in easy monthly instalments to ensure low-income families are not burdened, while authorities reiterated that the plots are completely free and involve no hidden charges.
