Armenia is making travel easier for visitors in 2026 by allowing nationals of 113 countries to enter visa-free from January 1 to July 1, provided they hold a valid residence permit from the US, EU, Schengen countries, or key Gulf states.
Eligible travelers can stay up to 180 days within a year, making Armenia ideal for tourism, business, and extended visits. Authorities require residence permits to be valid for at least six months, presented in Latin characters, and formatted according to the Gregorian calendar.

The policy aims to attract more visitors, boost tourism, and connect Armenia to global travelers. For those not qualifying, the Armenia e-Visa system offers 21-day or 120-day visas, fully processed online for $8 and $38, respectively.
Officials said the new rules simplify travel, reduce paperwork, and encourage short-term holidays, long stays, and regional business trips. With stunning landscapes, historic sites, and a rich culinary scene, Armenia is now easier than ever to explore.
